Last week, NETGEAR was at the ISC West trade show, the largest event in the U.S. for the physical security industry, running April 5th -7th.  We were there to showcase the Arlo Smart HD security camera product line, along with other networking products for the security installer space.

Arlo Smart HD cameras are currently the industry’s top-selling DIY home security system according to NPD Retail Tracking data from February 2017.  The Arlo line of cameras provide an easy-to-use DIY security system that is now gaining popularity with the installer space.

From our booth, we demonstrated NETGEAR’s Arlo Pro, a 100% wire-free and waterproof HD smart security camera with 2 way audio and rechargeable batteries.  The base station of the Arlo Pro has a 100 decibel siren that can be remotely activated for further security, and its battery life lasts up to 6 months on average before needing to be recharged!

NETGEAR was also showcasing our new Arlo Go, the world’s first and only 100% wire-free, weatherproof, 3G/4G LTE mobile HD security camera.  With advanced motion detection, 2-way audio, and its long lasting rechargeable battery, it is the ideal camera for maintaining security in locations without readily available WiFi, such as a vacation home, construction site, boating dock, or any property that is beyond the reach of your WiFi connection.

Additionally, our Arlo Q Plus is a business security camera with 1080p HD video, 2-way audio that can be used like an intercom, PoE connectivity so you can power the camera and connect to your network with a single cable, and a local backup storage option with microUSB.  All of our Arlo cameras come with a 7-day rolling free cloud storage.

NETGEAR’s award-winning Orbi Tri-band WiFi System was also on display, as well as our Web Managed PoE Switches, featuring innovative flexible mounting brackets, and our the Easy-Mount Switches, which allow you to put more PoE/PoE+ ports Virtually Anywhere with their unique mounting system.

For local storage critical for small businesses to maintain the security of their physical and intellectual property, NETGEAR displayed the latest ReadyNAS offerings: the 2-bay ReadyNAS 422 for up to 20TB total storage and the 4-bay ReadyNas 424, which can provide up to 40TB total storage.

If you were at ISC West, we hope you visited our booth and stopped by to say hello!
